National Private Pilots License

This license is basically a leisure license which can only be used in the UK and in good weather. The minimum age that you can go solo is 16 and the license can then be issued at 17.

The main advantages over the European License is that the minimum number of hours required for license issue has been reduced from 45 hours to 32 hours, plus the tests. The medical requirements are also reduced, cutting the cost even more.
