RAF Flying Scholarship Scheme
For many years Tayside Aviation has been the sole provider of air cadet training for the RAF. Since 1994, thousands of young adults have acquired flying skills with the support of our staff and instructors.
The RAF Flying Scholarship Scheme is now referred to as the Air Cadet Pilot Scheme.
Tayside Aviation have been awarded the contract for training until March 2009 with over 100 cadets trained each year.
Within twelve hours of intensive training, these young individuals fly solo in our two seater training aircraft. This provides the RAF with an unrivalled amount of information about potential flight crew thereby facilitating the selection process and make it easier and more reliable.

We organise acommodation and transport for the trainees and Dundee is ideally suited as a venue, having a mainline Rail Link, and obviously, an Airport with daily flights to London City Airport.
