VE Day Celebrations
Fife Flying Club organised a major social event to commemorate victory in Europe. The day was split into two, with an aviation themed day which incorporated a fly-in and in the evening the Club had organised a dance in a hangar, where many were dressed in 1940’s regalia and danced the night away to the ‘big band’ sound.
It was agreed that it was a great success and our thanks go to Stewart Webb, the Flying Club committee and Julia Grant and her team.
With a special thanks to all who visited Fife during the day, especially all visiting aircraft – some of whom delighted the spectators with flying displays and aerobatics.
