70 ADDITIONAL AIR CADETS TO BE TRAINED IN THE NEXT SIX MONTHS

Tayside Aviation has been the sole United Kingdom contractor for the RAF Flying Scholarship Scheme - which is now referred to as the Air Cadet Pilot Scheme - since 1994.

Thousands of cadets have been trained by the company since then, and a new five year contract was awarded in 2003 with over 100 cadets trained last year and 125 allocated for this year. An extra 70 have just been allocated and must be trained before the end of the MOD financial year which is the end of March 2005.

Additional instructors may be required to cope with this unexpected surge in business and applications should be directed at the Managing Director at the Dundee address or [email protected]
